As I read this quote I thought of the connections we have with each other and our animals. If you consider the relationship you have with your horse, dog or cat and there lack of emotion, but there state of awarness of being in the world and how they see you as a part of that world we can understand there loyalty. A dog's wag of a tail and the cat's purr of affection is there state of awareness of you being in there world. This showing of love seems unconditional, however it is not, your dog may bark at the mail man, and your cat won't purr for a stranger, and your horse may behave totally different with someone else on his back. It is that awareness, that universal connection of thought appreciation towards other life forms that unites us in the conspiracy of love.
