As A Man Thinketh (1902) James Allen
Mind is the Master power that moulds and makes,And Man is Mind, and evermore he takesThe tool of Thought, and, shaping what he wills,Brings forth a thousand joys, a thousand ills: —He thinks in secret, and it comes to pass:Environment is but his looking-glass.
Allen's most famous book, As a Man Thinketh, was published in 1902. Its underlying premise is that noble thoughts make a noble person, while lowly thoughts make a miserable person.
One of my favorite quotes of James Allen is; " Circumstances don't make a man they reveal him."
We need to direct our thoughts in the direction of what we want. Observe today what thoughts keep popping into your head. Are they they thoughts you want to create your future?
My tip this Tuesday, is observe your thoughts and direct them into the future you want and deserve.
Thank you James Allen for your timeless words of wisdom.
