On The Road Again

Whew,

First barrel race of the season is in the books. A big thank you to all who attended, sponsored, worked, and contributed in any way. What a outstanding event, held at the beautiful remodeled Blackhawk Arena in Salina Utah.

Horse Events Inc. and Burns Saddlery Inc. sponsor four of these events per year. The next event is held May 15-17th.

A reunion of horse enthusiasts spending up to a week, working with their horses and spending time with family and reuniting with friends.

Also in the books is ski season one for Burns Cowboy Shop in Park City, Utah. What a wonderful first season it has been. I look back in amazement at how fun ,and incredible the adventure has been.

The hustling Park City now waits for the transition into the busy summer season. It gives me a chance to follow up on all the things that were put away during "the season". And get ready for the first summer season in this beautiful resort town.

They always say, you come to Park City for the snow, but you live in Park City for the summers.

Not sure where the roads will lead me in the following weeks, a little R&R, a little switching of inventory, a little planning for my future , a little time planting seeds , and as always a lot of fun doing it all.
