On The Road Again

Forth of July Week!

Amazing, it is the 4th of July... It certainly does not feel like the typical hot 4th of July weather I am used too. In Carmel July's average temperature is somewhere in the 50's!

How uniquely refreshing the Central Coast of California is. The foliage here is simply magical. Endless species of trees, flowers, and shrubs living in a unique Eco system that never overheats and obtains moisture daily from the great boiler maker (Pacific Ocean).

This week will be a busy week for the Burns Bunch, Salina has it's big traditional July 4th celebration with it's historic rodeo, parade, games at the park and of course fireworks.

Last year was our first 4th of July in Park City, we set outside on our patio and watched the fireworks spray the Park City Mountain Resort. The parade in Park City certainly was different, themed with miners and skiers, not cowboys and miners like Salina's.

Now a new adventure, celebrating the 4th of July in Carmel-by-the-Sea! New parade theme, new landscape to showcase the fireworks, and new folks to celebrate it with.

All celebrating AMERICA!!! Land of the Free, Home of the Brave!!!

No matter what the landscape, no matter what the theme, the celebration is the same, Let Freedom Ring, from Rodeo Arenas, to Ski Slopes, to Pacific Shorelines, my God this is an incredible country, full of fearless people, United with the strength of FREEDOM!!!

On the 4th of July Road Again,

In Carmel-by-the-Sea!!!
